Arborist reports are more frequently required by municipalities when any action that may affect trees or their roots are undertaken. Tree species, diameters, crown spread, heights, tree protection zones, photos, condition and location are often required. Certified arborists are required to file these reports for construction, removal of a tree, valuation, and root excavation.
